Northeast monsoon season

The Northeast monsoon season often brings Ngoc Island sunny and dry days and a calm west coast. However, the East, South or remote areas can still catch the waves in their own way, do not use the weather where you are to deduce the entire trip.

Check current conditions

The Northeast season is a great suggestion for travel planning, but the weather forecast close to the date is a reliable companion. If you have a canoe tour or scuba diving schedule, check the wind strength and wave direction and confirm with the organizers. There will be days on the shore when the wind is cool but there are big waves offshore.

Things that are easy to miss

The dry season offers a much higher probability of sunny days, but it cannot promise that the sea will always be calm or the sky will always be clear. A calm beach along the coast cannot represent the waves of the sea. Choosing a shoreside resort and deciding to reach out to sea are two experiences that need to be evaluated separately.

When going out

  • Check the sea forecast before finalizing a beach or island tour.
  • Ask the tour operator if the itinerary can flexibly adjust to the direction of the wind.
  • Bring a wide hat and add enough water because the dry sun this season is easy to lose strength.
  • Don't take yesterday's calm sea image as a yardstick for tomorrow's trip.
