From Phu Quoc Airport to An Thoi and Sunset Town

Going straight from the airport to An Thoi or Sunset Town means travelling to the far south of the island. The port, cable-car station, resorts and show venues are not one shared destination, so give the driver the exact place you need before setting off.

How to prepare?

If your flight lands close to the start time of an evening show, work backwards from the performance: baggage collection, finding a car, the drive south, parking and walking to the venue all take time. After a show, especially if your accommodation is far away, arrange transport or at least a clear pick-up point in advance. Large crowds leaving together can make on-demand cars slower than expected.

Situations to keep in mind

Sunset Town is in southern Phu Quoc, but it is not another name for all of An Thoi. A vague map pin can take you towards a port, a residential street or the wrong side of a large tourism district. Map travel times are also only estimates and can be less reliable when major events bring heavy traffic to the south.

Before you go

Send the exact destination: hotel entrance, port, cable-car station or show venue.
Ask whether your resort or attraction provides an airport shuttle if that is relevant to your booking.
Plan how you will get back to the hotel if an evening programme finishes late.
Do not schedule a late flight arrival and a fixed show start with no realistic buffer between them.
