Public toilets
Engrossed in wandering but "in need", an accurate map will be more valuable than a thousand descriptions. At attractions, restaurants or busy neighborhoods, look for signs or boldly ask the staff. Don't assume that every romantic beach has a public toilet available for you.
How to prepare?
If you need to deal with your sadness, open the "Near Me" feature on the map, aim for the nearest point and take a close look at the entrance and opening hours. If you are sitting at a café, restaurant, or amusement park, asking the staff directly is the fastest way. In particular, before embarking on a long journey away from the center, take advantage of the "solution" at major stops.
Situations to keep in mind
The toilet pin on the map does not promise that it is open, free to use, or open to visitors. Many places only prioritize this utility for customers using their services. Look at the map as a suggestion and be prepared to confirm it when you arrive.
Before you go
- Scan for the nearest toilet before leaving the high-service area.
- Politely ask the staff if outsiders are allowed to use the restroom.
- Pocket a pack of tissues and a mini bottle of hand sanitizer, and you'll find that they're a lifesaver.
- Make the most of the clean toilets at the stop on long journeys.
