Watching the sunset
Along the west coast of Phu Quoc, you can spend a whole dreamy afternoon to let go of your soul at Dinh Cau, Bai Truong, Ong Lang beach or back up to Ganh Dau. The secret is to aim for a convenient coordinate and have a safe way back when night falls; because the beauty of the sunset depends entirely on the clouds in the sky, it is not necessary to run a lot of beaches to hunt for a more splendid scenery.

How to schedule?
To fully enjoy the symphony of sunset lights, start a little early to leisurely find your way to the beach and toilet in front of a prime seat, especially in bustling tourist spots. If the area you choose is located on the premises of resorts or commercial businesses, politely inquire about space use rights and service fees. As the sunset approaches, don't forget to look out for the low cloud trails on the horizon; because sometimes even at the top of the sky is still bright, but the sun has actually been hidden behind the thick clouds for a long time.
What may be different
A brilliant red-orange afternoon is completely an impromptu "gift" of clouds and light, there is no check-in point that dares to pat your chest to promise that every day the sky will burn brightly like coals. Sometimes, that magical moment just flashes and then disappears in just a few short minutes. Don't greedily trade a magical sunset photo to recklessly climb deadly slippery rocks or arbitrarily encroach on forbidden areas.
Before the trip
- Priority is given to "dotting the coordinates" of a scenic spot with a bright and easy-to-walk road back to the center.
- Survey the beach access and the beach space use regulations in advance.
- Keep a safe distance from uneven rock edges when it is windy or strong waves.
- Pocket a thin jacket and a small flashlight if you plan to linger for more chill when it's already dark.
