Suoi Tranh through the wet and dry seasons

Suoi Tranh has two seasonal faces: lively water over the rocks in the wet season, and exposed mossy stone beneath the forest canopy in drier months.

In the rainy season, cool water runs strongly through Suoi Tranh's rocky course. During the dry season it can shrink considerably, revealing rock forms and forest vegetation. The landscape is pleasant in both, but the waterfall experience is not the same.

Water Flow and Rock Path

The Suoi Tranh stream originates from high ravines in deep forests, so the water flow directly depends on the upstream rains. When the heavy rain has just stopped, the water flow can rise quickly and flow rapidly; visitors need to obey safety warning signs and stay away from slippery deep water areas. Enjoying the view of the stream from safe locations on the shore is always a smart choice.

The paths along the stream are natural stone steps that can be covered with wet moss. You should prepare a pair of sneakers that grip well, watch every step carefully, and always keep an eye on young children. Let's help protect the environment by not littering and carefully storing personal items.

In the dry season, there is still something to see

In the dry season, although the stream is not overflowing with water, it opens up a great opportunity to explore the unique topography of the stream bed with winding ancient tree roots and all shapes of mountain rocks. Understanding and appreciating the original beauty of Suoi Tranh in each season will make your trekking more poetic.
