Visiting Vinpearl Safari

Vinpearl Safari in northern Phu Quoc combines walking areas with a semi-wild safari vehicle route. Because the grounds are large, families with young children usually have a better visit when they give it a dedicated half-day and build in rest stops.

How to schedule?

Check opening hours and activity times for the actual date. Before entering, choose the few areas or activities the group most wants to see, estimate the walking and leave room for breaks. If you combine Safari with VinWonders on the same day, be realistic about energy and travel time between the two.

More than a conventional zoo
Safari uses several types of space: walking areas, semi-wild zones, vehicle routes, animal-care facilities and viewing points. The value lies in how animals and environments are observed, not simply in counting species.
Treat the visit as a paced observation journey rather than a checklist. Animals may not always be near the vehicle or active when you pass; that is part of an animal experience, not a reason to rush the group from one area to another.

What may be different

Safari is larger than it appears on a map, so arriving late and trying to cover everything can quickly exhaust a group. Animals also have their own activity patterns and will not always be close to the visitor route. Follow staff guidance and do not feed animals without permission.

Pace matters more than the number of zones you tick off
There is no need to cover every area. Choose a main route, include rest stops and be comfortable skipping parts if weather or the group's energy is not on your side.

Before the trip

  • Check current opening hours and any scheduled animal activities for that day.
  • Bring sun protection, water and comfortable walking shoes.
  • Do not tease, feed or deliberately disturb the animals.
  • With young children, build rest periods into the visit.
